KOCKS is considered as pioneer in the development of container cranes in Europe. We have been building high-performance ship unloaders since 1913 and we are the world market leader in Goliath cranes. We set standards for high-performance of cranes for decades. Today customers have confidence in the well-known KOCKS know-how, in particular regarding requirements within limit ranges of the technical practice.

We are looking at short notice for an employee with the following qualification:



 Your duties:

  • Disassembly and reassembly of cranes
  • Service work such as repair, maintenance and assembly work in renovation and modernisation projects
  • Identify and rectify problems together with the responsible departments
  • Give competent support to our customers

Our expectations:

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a plant / production / industrial mechanic, specialist in metal technology (construction/assembly technology) or similar training
  • Relevant professional experience, as well as experience in

    • E-hand welding (111), preferably on construction sites and welding work in forced position
    • Flame-cutting of sheets and profiles
    • Competent production of weld seam preparations

  • Knowledge of relevant standards, knowledge of production and assessment of weld seam preparations
  • Good knowledge of technical documents (technical drawings, relevant technical specifications and quality requirements)
  • Willing to be deployed universally on construction sites
  • Languages: Basic English
  • Driving licence class B
  • Willing to travel, head for heights
  • Able to pick things up quickly and structured approach to work
  • Communication and team skills, ability to cooperate, independent worker, able to withstand stress, commitment
